The Tempress II pressure balancing cartridge is engineered for use in tub and shower systems to maintain a consistent water temperature despite fluctuations in water pressure. The pressure balancing cartridge compensates for pressure fluctuations in the supply system through a diaphragm connected pressure balancing mechanism.
