Eurotherm 1" Thermostatic Shower Valve and Parts 18.30.072
The shower valve consists of the solid brass Valve Body, Thermostatic Cartridge, and Brass Cover. The parts within the valve have a lifespan of 15 to 20 years. Over time, wear and tear, plus the accumulation of limescale from precipitated hard water minerals in the water, cause parts to break, leak, or fail. To ensure continued safe and enjoyable use of your shower system, the manufacturer recommends servicing it about every 15+ years by replacing the Thermostatic Cartridge.

High water flow: up to 32 gallons per minute at a water pressure of 65 pounds per square inch. Lower water flow with restriction: up to 20 gallons per minute at a water pressure of 65 pounds per square inch. The bottom plug exists to flush a shower system for winterizing a summer home that is expected to be vacant through the cold winter season.
